Randi Ganulin grew up in Los Angeles, California. After completing general studies at UCLA, she studied printmaking and illustration at RISD, finishing her BFA in communication design at Otis College of Art and Design. Ganulin was awarded the Javits Fellowship for her graduate work in photo-based media, earning her MFA in 1996. She has exhibited nationwide; her work is included in the collections of the New Mexico Museum of Art in Santa Fe, NM; the Center for Fine Art Photography in Ft. Collins, CO; the cities of Seattle and Tacoma, WA; and varied private collections. She lives with her family east of Seattle in Sammamish, WA and is a faculty member of DigiPen Institute of Technology.
